On July 16, around 15:20, the Russian military launched a missile attack on Ukraine from the Caspian Sea region, using Tu-95MS strategic bombers. Six Kh-101 (Kh-555)-class missiles were launched.
“Around 16:30, four missiles were shot down by Air Command East air defense units in Zaporizhzhia and the Dnipropetrovsk region,” according to the report.
The remaining rockets were reported to have hit an agricultural enterprise in the Cherkasy region. Damage and victim data are being clarified.
