Ukraine and Russia have reached an agreement to export grain

The agreement was signed by Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, and Turkey’s Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

On behalf of Russia, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed the agreement in the same format.

Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the President’s Office, previously stated that Ukraine would sign an agreement with Turkey and the UN, rather than with Russia.

According to this agreement, Russian ships will not inspect vessels carrying Ukrainian grain, and Russian representatives will not be present in Ukrainian ports. If necessary, all ship inspections will be carried out by joint groups in Turkish waters. Provocations will be met with an immediate military response.
